Anyone here who watches Much Music will know who I'm talking about.

Anyway, so yesterday I was watching MM and when the news came on there was George, but he wasn't wearing his typical black shirt, oh no, he was wearing a bright red shirt with CCCP written on huge bold letters. I was like "Yes George!! that is it!!!" (not that I talk to my tv or anythng, lol). But he knew what it stood for and everything, I was quite surprised to see him sportin' commie gear on the tele, but anyway :).

Is he the guy with the funky glasses? My parents get sattellite and I visit on the weekends, so I watch a little of Much Music. The only two guysI can picture is the guy with the funky glasses and that other one, with the weird little goutee and tats.

By the way, Much Music, in my opinion, is better than that shit-pile MTV. They have a two hour program with nothin but videos and no commercials, thats pretty sick. Down with shit-pile MTV!!!!

Guy with funky glasses? I think that's 'Nardwuar the human serviette' lol, he's not a regular, he just does interviews and stuff. George is the one with the weird goutee, he doesn't have any visible tatoos, but he does have a nose ring, he usually does 'much news'.

That was rude of me, I'm honestly not sure where to get them. He got his as a birthday gift from a friend so he doesn't know either. I know way to much about George, I could be his stalker ;)

Ok, as much as Felicia says I can bite her arse, I will politely decline. I can't stand him myself. The boy talks way too fast. Is the boy on amphetamines or what? Don't care for the swearing either Georgey boy. I hear enough of that rubbish in daily life without having to turn on my tv.

If MuchMusic is considered better than MTV, then MTV must be really beyond bad. MuchMusic used to be good 3 years ago, but they seem to play the same old crap, repeat programmes and play too much MTV show tripe.

george S also works for Toronto radio station owned by the same company that owns MM(chum). that station has been an alt-rock station since the nineteen eighties, and as you know, that music is all about socialist politics. this is because of its punk origins.

anyway, it makes perfect sense that george would be wearing such a shirt. his show (punk-o-rama) on the EDGE(the radio station) is all about the early punk music of the late seventies and eighties.

he's pretty cool. he came to see a friend of mine's band play in a downtown club once. this was before he got his MM job. I met him doing punkorama about a year and a half ago. he even let one of my pals talk live on the air.

Im glad he wore that shirt, because the radio station has begun broadcasting these ridiculous radio info-mercials. which is a direct contradiction towards the morals of the music. maybe george is making a bit of a statement in opposition to the corporate mentality that has recently infected the station that got him started in the biz. he's probably one of us(commie) too.
