Hello. I have just turned 17, live in Australia and am in my last year of high school (year 12) doing the HSC. I'm an atheist and a bored, procrastinating student. In the last few years I have become more politically aware as I matured, studied history at school and talked with my parents who are socialists. I don't really want to give myself a political label since I feel I know so little. Since my parents are socialists I felt that my leftist views were the norm and I'm still realising how radical our views are considered to be. I'm here, eager to learn more about communism, socialism, anarchism, capitalism, marx, lenin and politics in general, recommended by a friend, another member. It's truly great to meet you all. This site is a breath of fresh air after school and my last net hangout. I'll be hanging in the learning forums. Later!

Socialist parents? That's definitely an advantage.
