View Full Version : how can we remove the left-right divide?

there will never be peace unless we are together as one! we should not be divided from eachother, because we are all in the same boat........
as a wise old chinese kung fu actor once said: "the universe seeks balance. there will never be peace when there is conflict. nothing will grow when the earth is on fire. nothing can swim when the sea is boiling."
how can we gain oneness?
EDIT:
there seems to be some misconceptions about what i meant with this thread. i do not mean that the left and right should coexist. i am saying that there shouldnt be any left and right at all. to put it in a phrase that could have been taken right out of lao tzu's tao teh ching; as long as there is a left there will always be a right.
what i meant was, there should not BE a left-and right, there should only be right and wrong. we should stop all this idea-fascism, about red colors (in the future EVERYTHING WILL BE RED. BLUE WILL BE OUTLAWED AND SENT TO THE GULAGS FOR REPAINTING! type mentality), ideological words, and all that idiotic stuff that DONT fucking matter, and are really just holding back human progress. what matters is capitalism, racism, fascism, hatred, humanism, spirituality, philosophy, progress, freedom, justice, equality and culture ETC...! in a GOOD post-revolutionary community, everything will NOT revolve around communism this communism that.. not even warx would've wanted that. im amazed to see that on one of the most anti-ism websites there are, there is so much focus on theese -isms that you all say you are against. fuck the left! fuck the right! the left IS right. the left is everything, and should not be confined to the hand you do not use to pull your dick with.
thank you.

This hardly counts as a political post. It should be moved or trashed. I'd suggest blogging this kind of brainfart as the only thing to debate is whether you are stoned or stupid. Left and Right wing politics aren't opposites that must exist together like yin and yang.

You can push for left unification, but there can be no unification between diametrically opposed viewpoints like "left" and "right". They advocate totally different societies, both social ideals can't coexist peacefully in the same place (or even internationally, as history has shown).
Pragmatism and "crossing the aisle" are the spirit of modern day representative government, and it's bred a bunch of opportunists who don't actually have a solid ideology to speak of (even a bad one).
We need to make more of an effort to distinguish ourselves from the right, not less.
Do you want social justice, equality, and an end to wage slavery? Or do you support the status quo, private property, wages, and the an elite class controlling the economy regardless of the wishes of the majority?

you have clearly misunderstood what i meant, pretty much as much as possibly possible.
and this is not political?? not good enough for your narrow mind?

Well you did post a yin and yang symboland suggest that we need to coexist and merge, both would lead one to think you were suggesting some kind of dualistic harmony between opposing sides (like yin and yang).
You post has almost no substance, it's just artsy-fartsy pseudo-philosophical words on a screen.

I'm not narrow minded in the least. Ok then, which yin and yang are you talking about that is political other than left and right? I'm sorry that I read something more into your vaguely spiritual post than you wrote, but then I thought that was the point of it. You go to a better chinese restraunt than I by the way, I don't get things like this, the cookies normally just tell me what my lucky colour is.

Well, nice for the universe but I'm definitely not in one boat with Fascist/Nazi-scum!
This is just what the NazBols and the "Third Positionists" try and always their party went either left, or right or simply failed...

as much as you want to deny, hate, and rationalize it, the fact is yes we are.
"fascist/nazi scum" may be stupid, and hateful, but stupid and hateful can always change for the opposite.. but beeing stupid and hateful right back and creating a divide between us doesnt really do much except create conflict and an even bigger divide until there is no turning back for anyone. im not saying we should move further towards the right or even away from the right (as the farest of the far-left are already pretty much in the safe zone), we should move the right closer to us. no matter how much you hate the idea, and hate that people get along and are not yet of the pure leftist-race. we are idea-fascists....

Sorry if I'm annoying you but no, I'm not! Minimum 97% of my believes are absolutely contrary to what the right-wingers stand and fight for.

Well, that sounds nice but I'm afraid that we won't get the fascists more closer to the left, no, I think it will be the other way around.
They are actually trying to present themselves more left currently and Strasserists are becoming more active but that's because some of them realised that the good old "Hail to the 4th Reich" isn't that atractive any more in the time of the financial crisis. And look what's happening: genuine leftists fall to the right, as we had it with the NazBol, and turn more and more right there. Any former fascist who "sees the light" and leans towards the left now is more than welcome but letting them use left ideas (they laughed about for ages and told everybody what nonsense it is) for their vicious ideology in order to gain more votes is unacceptable.

To answer the thread's original question, remove the right.:cool:
let us examine what the word "remove" really means.
remove is basically put up of two words:
re-move > move.. - again!
and where do we move it to, again?
to the left. its the only way.
i will keep this position. and you can move my threads all you want. you cannot kill an idea. we shall overcome!

Don't you go on semantics and etymology to me! You were the first to say remove. If you said abolish or obliterate, I would have said abolish or obliterate the right.

Saying that, there are also leftist groups that I do not want to ally with.

I don't want to come together with the fascists. I don't even want to coexist with them. I want to smash the whole notion of fascism with a hammer so big that fascism would be completely and utterly destroyed, in such a manner as to be erased from all time and space. Fascism is the enemy of human dignity, of any form of progress, and I will never make fascism my ally. Yin and yang are complements to one another; fascism and communism are not.

I knew someone would point that out. Just because I like the work of Hunter S Thompson doesn't mean I'm a hippy or even need to like them, it certainly doen't mean that I like their ideas.
Besides I was only half serious, people dislike hippies for lots of different reasons. :p

Having left and right co-exist peacefully is as impossible as making day and night appear simultaneously. They are diametrically opposite, and therefore in constant rejection of each other, regardless the situation.
Whether they should co-exist is an entirely different question, although a useless one. Even to that question I would answer NO!
