Okay, so i'd like to take a minute here to learn all there is to know, and to become well versed into leftist theory.

I seem to be all over the place, renting book by book and studying night after night to discover I was bamboozled by yet another incompetent author, or learned shallow, false knowledge. I can no longer rely on local american books on marxist theories or socialism unless it was written by Karl Marx himself.

I plan on making a simple, and very useful handbook of marxist socialism and communism. (My previous thread was insufficient.) It will sum up the ideals and history of revleft, and it will not be published but rather a personal and local handbook.

This will contain all I need for reference, and it will contain opposing views on capitalism as well. I have also thought about distributing copies to my high school classmates due to their EXTREME uneducation. It would be like sculpting fresh clay before your annoying younger sibling destroys it or eats it.

What is Communism? What is all there is to know about marxist communism? Why communism instead of Capitalism?

What is marxist socialism? What kinds of socialism are there? How has socialism affected countries? What countries were/are socialist?

[Additional questions may be added.]

I will include the answers as the main material, but things such as written in das kapital, the communist manifesto, and other documents and books on the history of marxism will be added in the introduction and etc.]

I already have all the information needed to combat capitalists, probably.

As for this part: "What is marxist socialism? What kinds of socialism are there?" -- Engels' pamphlet "Socialism: Utopian and Scientific" (find it at marxists.org) explains that, before Marxism, there were three main supporters of "utopian socialism", named Fourier, Owen, and St. Simon. They believed that socialism was something that can be formed in isolated communities, with emphasis on lifestyle. Marx broke from that and tried to give socialism a scientific basis, incorporating some lessons learned from ancient and modern history, economics, political theory, cultural anthropology. For example, an economic theory that explains the actual sources of wages and profits, which are not really what most people think they are.

Here's a biased recommendation (my own opinion) about your other questions, but when I first became a Marxian socialist way back in the 1960s, the document that I uploaded to the following location had a huge influence on me:

Educating people about Communism and stop strange prejudices about us is a very important topic. Hopefully your handbook will help us there.

I would suggest to look through the Revolutionary Left Dictionary (http://www.revleft.com/vb/revolutionary-left-dictionary-t22628/index.html), the Communist Theory FAQ, by Engels (http://www.revleft.com/vb/communist-theory-faq-t23569/index.html) and the High School Commie's Guide (http://www.revleft.com/vb/high-school-commie-t22370/index.html) here in Learning, if you haven't already. These should help to solve many of your questions.

Have a look at How to be a Communist (http://www.wikihow.com/Be-a-Communist) and How to be a Socialist (http://www.wikihow.com/Be-a-Socialist) for a brief basic step-by-step approach for complete newbies. Wikipedia might be useful too for a more neutral perspective.

Those links are biased: "Do not Read Leon Trotsky on international socialism; In Defence of Marxism, The History of the Russian Revolution and The Revolution Betrayed or any other such vulgar works. Trotsky was an idealist and fascist collaborator".

"DO NOT Read Leon Trotsky (the anti-marxist idealist) on international socialism; In Defence of Marxism, The History of the Russian Revolution and The Revolution Betrayed."

Anyway, I don't recommend reading them unless you already have, comrade Dante.

If you look at the history of the page, those changes were made to the articles after I posted the links here (although Wikihow and Revleft are using different timezones) and I'd encourage reverting such changes as I have done.
