I've been incredibly moved by this article (http://www.bilin-village.org/english/articles/different-look/His-name-was-Basem) regarding Basem Abu Rahme, an anti-Apartheid wall activist who was recently murdered in a demonstration by Zionist soldiers. At a time when the Zionist state cynically holds its holocaust day commemorations, we are reminded once more that the creation of Israel was not the negation of the imperialist onslaught that was the holocaust, but instead, its continuation.
The ISL's deepest sympathies go out to comrade Abu Rahme's family, friends and comrades. He is yet another martyr in the struggle against Zionism.
