Jimi Hendrix- Electric Ladyland

Bob Marley and the Wailers- Catch a Fire, Simmer Down at Studio One
I hate nitpicking and all, but I really think these should be credited to "the Wailers".
Personally I feel Bunny and Peter's inputs were as important to these albums as Bob's and I wouldn't want to insult two of my favourite artists.
My own favourite albums......
1. The Congos - Heart of the Congos....
2. Keith Hudson - Brand....
3. King Tubby and the Skatalites - Heroes of Reggae in Dub....
......yes, okay, I am narrow minded, but anyway....
I can't help it reggae makes me smile.

ok, ok, The Wailers. Peter and Bunny were/are certainly great. Bob does, however, sing on most of the tracks.

I very much doubt Radiohead - OK Computer and Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here will ever leave my changer. However, most of the stuff in there is the latest or more vintage metal, punk and rock from the last 25 years or so...

Bob does, however, sing on most of the tracks. , yeah, so do Peter and Bunny and they play the guitar and percussion respectively
Also Canikickit the albums I mentioned were after Peter and Bunny left the group
Yeah, that's why I didn't quote all of the albums Rob named.
Anyway like I said I don't mean to be nitpicking. Its not your fault if you say "...and the Wailers", its Babylon's, and commercialism's and shit like that. I just hate the fact that sometimes their contributions are overlooked.
I do call Jimi's band, "the Jimi Hendrix Experience", but I think that is a little different.
this was the name given to the band from the start, and Jimi's contribution was far greater than Redding's or Mitchell's. Mitch Mitchel was an amazing drummer though, check "Fire" and the woodstock performance. I love it when Jimi tells the congos player to shut up during the drum solo......
......Peter and Bunny wrote most of the songs with Bob, but they put them in one name....
anyway....I like music...

While I was in France I listened to the same CD's over and over again, but there was one I never got bored of, Word gets around by The Stereophonics. it's quite a strange choice compared to the other stuff I listen to but I like it. I also adore Kid A by Radiohead, another thing that alan (guerillaradio) introduced me to.
If I had a CD changer (I'm too poor!) then Adiemus by karl Jenkins or one of his other CD's would never leave it, it's so individual, I love it. If you've never heard it and you like kinda world music stuff then listen to it, please.
