have you heard this(the first one)? man......there's some brilliant shit on this. Like the battle in the toilet, and "Bring Hip Hop Back" - Cipher Complete. But the best is the freestyle at the end of the first disc, on Stretch Armstrong's show....man.....Pharoahe Monch is incred...ible,......ridiculous,.........vomit-inducing......


Another rapid album is Soundbombing Two. Shit......Company Flow....."Patriotism". and Pharoahe, "the Mayor".....



these two albums are Hip Hop at its finest, to me. But I've been out of that scene for a coupla months/years so maybe there's much better shit out there.....

Lyricist lounge vol. 1 is fucking great! you are right, the freestyle at the end of disc one has got to be the best on the volume ("just waiting for the beat come in, im dangerous like satan, eating bacon in front of a muslim, ill battle you and your cousin..."), but the matrix and abutta song comes in a close second. they start flowing, and your hand might as well stay by your mouth in awe cause their rhymes dont stop, and they are all tight! "what i write tonight may bring hip-hop back to its origins, while mortal men stay delicate like porceilin (sp?)..." and you have got to love the J5 on disc two. and the rah digga and a few of flip mode before they were with busta (i think at least) on disc 2.

Saul Williams and Sarah Jones do some poetry, which are both sick! the sarah jones one has the politics mixed in the whole thing, and the saul williams one is saul williams, so you know it has to be tight.
