Zimbabwe prison called 'death camp' (http://english.aljazeera.net/news/africa/2009/04/2009411994118412.html)
Has anybody else read this? The prisoners are hooked up to IV drips (only during the day) to prevent more deaths from malnutrition. I read this awhile ago, but the images stuck in my mind. This is obviously reminescent of Nazi concentration camps, and it is pretty shameful that nothing is being done to fix this.

I did not believe Mugabe's regime was so authoritarian. It seems like they have lost control over what they are doing, and I find it deeply tragic. Mugabe should really resign - he has become a divisive figure who is at the centre of Zimbabwe's breakdown.
I know some people here tend to blame all this on western sanctions. But the western powers did not order Mugabe to terrorise parts of his people that much. He has lost it.

Mugabe showed his hand from the start.
Look no further than the Mathabele land massacres in the 80s.

Aren't there any revolutionary groups in Zimbabwe? I remember hearing about some Zimbabwean Anarchists carrying out cross-border raids or something like that.
And just today it has been established that the car crash which killed Morgan Tsvangirai's wife was pre-planned. The lorry driver was a government employee.
