This is a really great video debunking those vulgar, second-rate little Austrians.

Hayek wanted socialism and democracy replaced with a dictatorship of the financial elite. Another Libertarian.

This speaker is as confused as Hayek was, claiming that the word "socialism" means "universal health care, paid maternity leave, decent wages, decent pensions, paid four-week vacations, paid family sick leave, decent daycare, decent public transportation, free university tuitions, and affordable housing."

The thing is.
Americans would generally like communism if they knew what it was.
Americans does'nt like communism because it is associated with people whom the Americans think were/are dictators, and in a lot of cases actually were dictators.

He specifically notes socialists societies that are decentralized, free of any kind of massive "central planning" by the government, which refutes Hayek's claims that socialism is totalitarianism. Perhaps what he meant to say in regards to the progressivism is that a social state should have been implementing these things, instead of the entirely manager-controlled factories of the Leninists and Stalinists etc.
He is right that Hayek (like Mises) etc. constructs his argument against socialism based on straw men argument, and not addressing any of the real claims by socialists.
Furthermore, I think he should be commended for doing this on Youtube, where Libertarians and capitalists are known to troll furiously (creating alternative accounts, flamming, etc.). I can only imagine the type of messages/death threats he has received for posting that video.
