Yes, it isnt as good as the old tapes, its more calm, more "chill out", its nothing compared with dirty boots, buble gum etc... but its cool expecially the Plastic Sun, its the best song in the cd!

I'm a massive Sonic Youth fan, and while their early work is good (Evol does it for me, i can't see the thing about Sister) their new album isn't too bad.

My favourite album though has to be Daydream Nation. I heard it first a few years ago and it still olds a special place in my heart. :)

Sonic youth is more than music, its a lifestyle! i dontlike sister too! but evol kicks ass! this new Cd is cool too! expecially the musics number 1 and 6!! i donth have the last cd (before this one!) i heard it isnt such a big deal! i think its NYC Ghosts and flowers, who has it?

i love sonic youth. i'm happy someone started a thread on them. i love noise! i think they're amazing and have revolutionized the music industry more on the underground independent scene. anyone who hasn't heard them yet should start listening to them right now.

NYC flowers and ghost is a good album but not the best. my favorite album is dirty or maybe goo.

i haven't bought the new album. i can't find it anywhere under 20 bucks. i'm broke right now so i am still looking. but i did spend about $100 for tickets to see them play this upcoming sunday. has anyone seen them on the current tour?

I saw Lee arnaldo here at Serralves, but it sucked, he was playing with some Portuguese Guy (I dont remember his name) and well it was a noise experiment, but it was too much experimental and no noise! it was boring and it really sucked, but there was no prob since the tickets were free!!! lol

I have NYC ghost flowers but quite frankly, it sucks ass. It is really boring and it just wants to put me to sleep. I guess that could be a good thing though.
