The incredible, and inspiring, thing is that she holds no hard feelings about what happened, and even joined the Communist party. "From each according to there abilities. To each according to there needs.", just got a whole new meaning.

Why? What's so funny about being paralyzed? :confused:Not the paralyze, but using our term and turn in it into their hope does surprised me. I never thought that our term can be helpful. I just hope that our term will stay relevant and not into something entirely new meaning.

This is in no way specific to communism. Dancers do crazy shit--especially those who are, or seriously aspire to be, world class.

My sister-in-law was a professional ballerina. She lasted about 8 years, no serious injuries, but she walks with a leg brace at times.
