More suggestive prove that perhaps Thom is on the left? Also worth noting is his dedication to small causes, Tibetan Freedom and his hatred of the control of multi-national companies

No, that was merely cos Nader wasn't getting enough media coverage and he thought it was unfair that the televised debates were only between Gore and Bush.

Yorke is anti-corporate and veering towards socialist. He's fiercely anti-New Labour.

The song 'You and Whose Army' was originally about Blair and his 'cronies'. But he recently dedicated it to George Bush at a live concert in Portugal.

Electioneering
I will stop, I will stop at nothing.
Say the right things when electioneering
I trust I can rely on your vote.

When I go forwards you go backwards
and somewhere we will meet.
When I go forwards you go backwards
and somewhere we will meet.
Ha ha ha

Riot shields, voodoo economics,
it's just business, cattle prods and the I.M.F.
I trust I can rely on your vote.

When I go forwards you go backwards
and somewhere we will meet.
When I go forwards you go backwards
and somewhere we will meet.

And, for that matter...if this song isn't about capitalism, I don't know what is:

Optimistic
Flies are buzzing round my head
Vultures circling the dead
Picking up every last crumb
The big fish eat the little ones
The big fish eat the little ones
Not my problem, give me some

You can try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
If you try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough

This one's optimistic
This one went to market
This one just came out of the swamp
This one dropped a payload
Fodder for the animals
Living on animal farm

If you try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
If you try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough

I'd really like to help you, man
I'd really like to help you, man
Nervous messed up marionettes
Floating around on a prison ship

If you try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
If you can try the best you can
If you try the best you can
Dinosaurs roaming the Earth
Dinosaurs roaming the Earth
Dinosaurs roaming the Earth
