I was wondering because my CV or Resume is so damn poor , can we put down Revleft as work experience think about it .
I successfully co-managed a website in which there are over 1000(cant remember what the number is ) registered members  or some crap like that
And put malte down as a reference :D

I don't think I've ever made a resume in my life. I wouldn't know where to start. :bored:
I could just imagine handing in a resume to some office job, and seeing someone's reaction as they glance down my list of skills. Almost all of them are related to harvesting fish, LOL.

I know how to tie a lot of different knots. And I know how to properly fillet a fish. And mend nets. And fix a variety of engine problems. And set anchors. And a variety of other things, none of which are going to help me in most job markets.
I'm fucked if I ever have to write a resume. I might as well add Revleft on there.

Its certainly not a daft idea, especially if you've had a gap in employment interviewers focus heavily on this kind of stuff and I know that its somethign that I'd mention in an interview. At least down south you could probably get away with mentioning a left wing website without them nodding then burning your application as soon as you leave the interview room. I don't know about bugging Malte with paperwork from Ireland though! Plus the wait pending references to come in sounds like too much work for most employers. Mentioning it anecdotally in a response to "how do you manage yourself outside of work?" type questions would be enough.
EDIT: Oh, the other thing, if you specifically mention a website, they will inevitably stalk you here and base opinions through your politics and behaviour here, so theoretically if you were going to, I'd go on a little editing spree in chitchat threads or workers struggles!

Yes i can see how that would go down at the interview.
Interviewer: So, what have your previous roles been in the last 6 months and how would they be relevant to this position?
Interviewee: ...well i havent done any work for the last 2 years per se, but i've been very active on a political forum.
Interviewer: What sort of forum?
Interviewee: A revolutionary communist and anarchist forum, debating how to overthrow the capitalist system which your very company thrives on.
Interviewer: Thanks, we'll be in touch.

Haha! Moral of the story: Never discuss your politics with an employer.
