I've been noticing a lot that unions, no matter what company or part of the country, are being the only ones targeted to make concessions, the only ones being asked to rip up contracts, and make cuts to their benefits. I believe it was in Connecticut where these group of mayors banded together to come up with ways to "balance their budgets". Guess what they came up with....go the unions and demand THEY make cuts instead of making any efforts to cut any programs in their towns or did not ask the various insurance companies situated in their towns to make sacrifices. One union in particular was asked to give up over 650 million dollars to the town in cuts and many projects planned had to be shut down. Those dollars are now being used by their mayor so that she can pay off her debt she created and decrease her inflated budget because of her poor management.

What angers me the most is the fact that these unions, not only this one, from the auto workers to construction works etc etc are just accepting the fact that they are sole area in America during this economy that has to give up something. Where are the union strikes? I'm astounded in the US we're seeing these rich old white people with tea bags whining about how their taxes are going up 3% and worried about their precious guns may be taken away instead of protests with real workers, real people at the bottom of the ladder, with real reasons to complain.

I'm glad the auto workers unions are not going to go bend over with anymore concessions or making cuts because of their companies greedy behavior and poor financial skills.
