probily not, special intrest groups refer in the US mostly to the Pro-life/anti-abortion taliban (but they are afraid to call them by that name because of the conservetive shitstorm they would encounter, see the blog reports about the DHS assesment of last week) , alf/elf are most of the time grouped under anarchists.
