anyone here a fan?
With its working class roots, thought there might be a following here...
I grew up about 10 mins walk away from Bradford Bulls stadium, so theyre obviously my team. Can't believe they won against Leeds the other day with they dreadful start to the season theyve been having, especially how they ended up losing to Catalans the week before when they were 26-0 up :s
Who do people thinks going to win what then?
I back Saints to clear up this season

used to follow it abit, had a few Wigan Shirts back in the day, used to play it at school.
but honestly i would have to say: its shit, but it is at least better than Rugby Union.

I love both union and league in terms of purely watching them. Having played both, I prefer union. But from a political point of view I admire where how rugby league came about and its split from the middle/upper class game

ye iv played both as well but league gets boring after a while but union has a bit more to do with rucks, lineouts and scrums etc

I'm American and I play on a rugby union team and here it's more or less completely working class kids, I don't know if that's different in England.

its more associated with the upper class for some reason but i know loads of working class people who play it

its more associated with the upper class for some reason
its because of the amateur/professional split
same with it in australia, NZ etc
only the priveleged could afford to stay amateur
the teams from coal mining areas started paying broken time payments to players
theres a touch of the old class war about it deffo
plus the 'old boy' establishment media types (peter jackson, wooly etc) love to denigrate league at every opportunity so you end up with a right chip on your shoulder if you follow league
