It was a bad commercial, anyway. I paid extra-close attention when I saw it because of the above Mother Jones article.

Heard about this already. And good for them, although I'm not a big supporter of commercials in any sense.

And I am especially not a fan of using great tunes with commercials. A friend of mine cannot listen to 'Only A Northern Song' by the Beatles anymore because a local furniture store used the music for their ad. He keeps complaining about it, but then I just remind him that he's the idiot for watching TV. I'm SO glad I don't have cable...whenever a classic song comes on and someone says, "Oh, that's on the new _____ commericial," I just sit back and thank my lucky poor ass that brand names aren't lodged into my head everytime I listen to Zeppelin or the Beatles. I mean, shit, these tunes are my childhood...but even that's for sale nowadays.
