Most often there are 4 man crews on most fishing vessels, and living and working on a boat cannot work without a communist perspective within the organization of the life style. Is there opening fee to learn how to be a fisherman?

The 49th state is Alaska. There is always an opening in the industry, The best time of the year for people who are green to the sea is the Kodiak Salmon season. If you wanted to get involved it begins on June 1st, so you would need to show up in Kodiak a week to ten days before it opens. No there is no fee other that the standard fishing permit that all fisherman must buy, it runs around $150, other than that one would have to buy gear and that could tally up to around $350-$500.
