Last weekend I was pulling out of a parking lot and as I drove past this Army Surplus store I couldn't believe my eyes. In broad daylight in a urban neighborhood of Hollywood where the majority of people are latino, asian and black. Out of the store comes out two guys. One had a mohawk style of haircut and a t-shirt with a swastika, his buddy had a smaller mohawk style of haircut and was wearing and "SS" t-shirt with two swastika arm bands, just like the Nazi government peoples wore. I was shocked... my heart dropped to my stomach in disgust and anger.. or just confusion. I just reacted, rolled down my window and yelled out, "hey fuck you you scum bags" they looked over at me and did their nazi salute, laughing at me shouting. "white power!" The people waiting for the bus looked at them and then looked away. I froze I ponder getting out my car, so I reached for a water bottle on my passenger seat and threw it at them, i turned around on the next street looking for them and I couldn't find the. I have no damn clue what I was planning on doing or what would had happened. I can't explained it, I just reacted. Today, AGAIN! I was around the same neighborhood and I saw one of them this time he had a coat on but you call still see his fucking swastika, He's walking around this neighborhoods that are filled with working people of latino and black origin and he's not afraid or no one obviously cares. I'm confused. One of my friends told me that they were either A) tourist, or B) actors...
Should I just give this a rest? I'm considering going back and just looking around, maybe there's a neo nazi ring forming? Or should I just not worry about it?

Get some friends and some blunt objects and go hang out with them for a little bit. Maybe behind a department store or an empty parking garage.

I don't know how serious the other comrade was, but I understand your frustation absolutly, they have no right to be spreading their filth in an area that clearly consists overwhelmingly of people who will feel intimidated by them and no doubt be on the recieveing end of their hate.
If you can comrade I would absolutly get a few friends together and make it known that they're not welcome. Hopefully they'll pissoff somehwere else and they'll recieve the same treatment there to. We don't have to put up with them ruining our communities!

yeah. and then most of the people in this neighborhood are immigrants and pretty humble and well, easily intimidated. since they don't like to draw attention to them selves because they are afraid of getting deported and such.

By doing so, you would be transferring responsibility and potential consequences from yourself to the shop vendor, who doesn't seem to mind them as much as you do, and who is more vulnerable because they know where to find him anytime.
If the Nazis (quite rightly) bother you, it's only fair that you and your friends to do something about it.

Get some friends, contacts, in Antifa, etc. Don't talk about actions on the forum, perhaps keep this to PMs or emails with your local anti-fascist group or whatever.

First, I would try to find out as much as possible about them:
Are they organised in any group?
Are they doing any political activities?
Do they intimidate people?
Are they violent?
If they're not really doing anything, then I wouldn't put too much effort in them.
However, if they're part of a group, it's a different issue and you should confront them.

If you want to do something, plan first before doing it. Please don't act on impulse, you'll only end up hurting yourself and those around you. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the enemy is important. If they're too powerful, then you as an individual would do well NOT to act at all. If they're too insignificant, then why give them the attention to begin with? Ignore them, and they'll go away.

First of all, don't get into fisticuffs with them unless know how to fight. Secondly, nazis have a tendency to put up stickers, racist graffiti, flyposting etc so whenever they're not around just make sure you have a marker pen and plenty of antifa stickers to cover their shit up.
Apart from that, just get together a load of friends and people who may be angered, organise and bring them over to their meet next time they try to organise.

If they're wearing nazi t-shirts in a latino/black majority area, then they're obviously not too smart :P That, or they're batshit insane.
Either way, it sounds to me like they're seeking attention, rather than engaging in any serious political activity (The reaction they gave to you shouting at them seems to support this).
If they do try to spread their fascist lies, however, it is your duty as a self-respecting left-winger to fight them at every turn, try printing off a leaflet claiming they're sex offenders and send it to everyone who lives near them.

When dealing with nazis one cannot afford to be an individualist. If they are nazis, engaged in any sort of political activity/promotion of the ideology, it is on the best interest of everyone to be aware and repeal them (at least ideologically).
Considering that the clerk is a latino, and he would be shot if those nazis were empowered, it is on his best interest to inform the community as much as possible about the said nazis and their activities.

His friends were probably in denial.
The probability of them to be wearing nazi clothing in two different meetings in two different times is quite small.
Also the nazi salute and white power.
Actors would probably try to hide that kind of thing out the street.

Nazi punks are not unknown in CA. The first LA hardcore punk generation was more about being a slam-dancing, fist-fighting, drunk, tough guy asshole rather than anything remotely 'socially aware'. A lot of those people went the white power route later.

More than a chance, there's the possibility that they bought half their gear there in the first place. Nazi fetishists and army surplus go hand in hard, after all.

Don't go up and talk to them because A) that would make you insane and they wouldnt listen anyway, and B) you would achieve nothing/get your head kicked in.
tbh in that situation shouting abuse is probably the only sensible thing that you could do, make it loud, make sure you can drive off if they come at you, and make it clear how to feel. You never know, what you shout could reach a receptive ear, empower others to join in, or at least let them know they are ****s.

Loyalists do, neo-nazis never would.
Neo-nazis would never, ever, ever fly a star of david flag, they would fly a palistinian one even though they hate muslims, but NEVER a jewish flag.
The main difference between ordinary sectarians or racists and neo-nazis is that the latter believe jews control the world and are to blame for every bad thing that has ever happened.
People who are sectarian or racist are simply wrong, they have got the wrong end of the stick and with any luck could even be converted out of it.
People who are nazis have a worldview so damn twisted they may never get out of anything, they dont even see the same reality as us.
Thats why I am hesitant to call groups like the BNP nazis. They may draw from fascist thought [and thus be neo or post-fascists] but unless they share the complete hatred of jews and the conspiracy beliefs that go with them they cannot be nazis.

If Nazis were around today they would be blaming Muslims and not Jews for the ills of the world, if I need to explain why they would be doing this (again) I gladly will do that, (ill give a summary out of the kindness of my heart anyhoo). However you are right people who are Nazis today, as in Hitler worshipping nutters, do blame everything on the Jews because they are stupid.
Your modern day fascist (we often do say nazis to generalise but i will refrain) is much smarter, they will blame the social group the public has most prejudices about (Hispanics, Blacks, Jews, Muslims, Irish, it doesnt really matter who they pick) and will play on this fear to get the working class to align themselves with the rich whites instead of their class comrades of a different ethnicity. Then the white working class will defend the state with vigor thinking it serves their interests, where really it serves the interests of the state (allowing them to tighten the reins removing civil liberties, start imperialist wars for oil, and keep the revolutionary classes divided and weak).
They will support anti-imperialism, support Palestine (because mass ethnic immigration ruined their country so they say) they will say the Brits had no rights in Africa (by the same logic Africans have no right to be in Britain), etc etc etc.

I agree, but then again it depends on how you define "trend".
Thatcher in her anti-working class policies was arguably in the same "trend" as the NSDAP on many issues, both were anti-working class, both were in the anti working class "trend".
Expanding who and who isnt a nazi to a matter of "trends" is the slippery slope that leads to "social fascist" being screamed at well meaning liberals.
After all since liberals are not explicitly pro working class, they can be seen to be a part of the problem, therefore part of the "trend" of being anti-working class, and as everyone knows the NSDAP were also a part of that "Trend".

I do but i think your wrong.
Thatcher is from the 'conservative' capitalist trend,
the likes of the BNP are from the Class Collaborationist/fascistic trend,
Labour; (although they are fucked now) the social democratic trend,
one could say they are all ultimately anti-working class (using different means to keep us down) but they are different.
