CIA shuts down its secret prisons.

Apparently the CIA has shut down it's secret prisons and black sites and any remaining sites are going to be decommissioned.

Personally, I'm sceptical (naturally), How can you confirm that an organisation that is secrative by nature, has closed down secret sites?

so they will close down one of the obvious black sites and set up two in its place somewhere else. you cant prove anything and can trust anything that the government tells us.

They shut it down now, to the eyes of the public, considering that the political pendulum tends to less authoritharianism, and reopen it later when it tends to more, to show strenght, but in reality it was kept functioning all the way.

The only reason they found out about the black sites was because they were using midnight flights to transport prisoners. They might have shut down a few prisons but I guarentee they have more. The only real thing that will change is the CIA won't use uncharted planes to move people, we effectivly made them more secretive and efficent, great.

The reason they are shutting them down is because they are no longer secrete. A whole bunch more have probably popped up somewhere.
