There are many far-right hate groups out there and I despise them all. However, the biggest and most hateful one is the KKK.
As American and anti-terrorist they say they are, I can't help but noticing they are the complete opposite of that.
I mean, burning crosses and Swastikas in people's lawn is pretty terrible. Plus, their lynching has accounted for thousands of murders over the course of the organization's existence. How can these not be considered acts of terror? I think that the KKK should be disbanded by the government immediately on the basis of it being a terror organization. Finally, we can put an end to one of the United States most hateful and shameful hate group for more that 100 years. Also, the smaller hate groups should be watched to make sure they are not up to the same thing.

Your first sentence contradicts the rest of your post...
You also seem to be ignoring what other far right groups are up to or, at least passing it as acceptable which again is contradictory.

Well...

How do you quantify this? I mean there are some pretty horrible groups out there that hold many the same views as the KKK maybe even worse.
The reason that I say this is not because of the hateful crap that they preach, but because of the terror they inflict.

Yet really you are ignoring other groups actions, of course the KKK act terribly but other groups have acted similarly be it verbal abuse or worse. I'm sure that other groups have killed people they don't like and vice versa, it's a matter of degree.
Banning the organisation would do nothing anyway, the authorities will have little evidence with which to prosecute the the KKK would just reform under a different banner.

Disbanded? No, they should be culled, or at least sent to the Gulags. Regardless, I don't think forcing them to disband would do much to help, most hate groups are deep underground organisations anyway, plus an outright ban could win over more support from sympathisers and potential racists.

I just watched a documentary on this lately. The KKK are Still the Biggest white supremacist group in the USA today. They are not all united and most a split on the Swastika Idea, mainly due to the fact that some KKK members detest this swastika idea because their daddies died fighting Nazis in WWII. However they are still the Biggest around today, under a catalogue of varying names but still essentially the KKK. So what if he's ignoring other groups? He's decided to attack the KKK so let him attack the KKK. After all the Motherfuckers should be lined up and YES it is a terrorist organisation. It uses and promotes hate and Terror by attacking ethnic minorities. First Catholics, Then Jews, Then Blacks, Then Mexicans and Hispanics.

Bare in mind, they may be the biggest hate group in America, but they're still tiny, " with membership estimated at 5,000-8,000 across 179 chapters." (h t t p://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ku_Klux_Klan#Since_the_1970s)
The KKK do not deserve the "honor" of being called a terrorist group, they are merely a loosely affiliated band of thugs. There are larger football firms than the KKK, who are a thousand times more violent. The Ku Klux Klan had its period in the twenties, they are no longer a threat now that they are treated with the contempt their ideals deserve.
And as for the ideas of some sort of grand genocide of the KKK, it may look appealing at first, but we should give them the chance to change. Many of their members come from uneducated, racist families, with no contact with the civilized world. They simply need re-educating, if we "Send them to the gulags", then we are the terrorists. Anyone can be saved from fascist ideologies, it just takes a little time.

Thats a good point. However Whenever we've seen the KKK at its lowest membership they have always found a way at re-forming and during the Civil rights era we saw a massive resurgence in their membership. I also believe their size adds little to the fact that they are a terrorist organization. The Real IRA is a perfect example of what a small organization is capable of, as we saw during the Omagh bombing. The KKK will survive the foreseeable future. It has a knack of surviving and coming back again. Fair enough its gone from 4 million to 5,000 but still it exists though a few hard-core elements.

My point was that you have to be careful when condemning one group but ignoring others, it stemmed from his contradictory statement at the beginning.

I voted for the first, although coming to look at it, perhaps the second option would have been better. If we're talking about terrorist organisations in the sense that the US government would, they usually class one due to their position towards the state of America. Actually instilling terror and fear into the working population is used more as a cover up to the real reason why they oppose them, they have and still do support many other organisations and states responsible for instilling terror into the hearts of workers around the world.
So no, the KKK isn't a terrorist organisation in the eyes of the bourgeoisie, because they don't instil terror into the bourgeoisie like Al-Qaeda supposedly does.
It does however, instil terror and fear into many working class communities, mainly immigrant, native and "non-white" communities, and thus would comply with the actual definition of terrorism. Mind you, the Boston tea party would have been considered a terrorist act if the Bush/Obama administration was around then.

Depends on what "generation" of the KKK you are talking about.
The modern day ones seem to just be old guys who like dressing up, if Im wrong please enlighten me.

the KKK is a dying group. it has only a handful of members, and most racists now a days are joining Nazis-in-suits groups.
