They quite accurately describe my day (though im not on any), except that we were up at 3.30 to start the blockades, of which there are no pictures. The blockades failed but we managed to delay the summit by one hour, and given the extreme repression we did great. First time we saw the cops, teargas with no warning given (sharp, CS). It continued throughout the day even and i must've been gassed over 10 times, actually got used to it (more or less :P).
Worth noting about the protests in general was how peaceful activists (of which i was one) struggled alongside the black block (harrassing/attacking the police as a response to extreme repression) by continuing to advance on police lines regardless of the sick amount of teargas. We advanced, were teargassed, retreated, advanced, were teargassed, retreated, etc. The result was a great 'comradely' atmosphere, with everybody realising that though our tactics may differ, we were there for the same thing (dissolution of NATO, and beyond, revolution). This atmosphere showed itself in the black block walking alongside and among the other protesters during the demo instead of behind or in front in one big block. On this i think we have to build.
