Religion, dialetical materialism, extentialism an many others. They are all idiotic human ways to cope with realality, but the realality is there is none.I hate hearing religous personel down talk marxism and I hate dialetical materialists think they are the end all.Is it just it just human nature to not understand that you will never understand.

Appeals to human nature are most often religious appeals...

Existentialism is an acceptance that there is nothing for you to understand, and how to move beyond. It is odd that you would dismiss something that claims so little on the grounds that they do not understand, yet accept Marxism which is far more prescriptive. If there is nothing to understand out there, then why accept this ism?
You need to allow for a possibility of understanding for progress, be it in science, politics or whatever. It doesn't matter if we never get there, as long as we try to, that is what drives achievment.
I am not complaining, but when you have become so disillusioned with everything else, why have you clung to a particular form of Marxism?

Very good! And probably true.
However, I don't think it's right to dismiss the 'isms' as idiotic, even the religious ones. Theories reflect human behavior from differing angles and viewpoints and therefore contain useful information. What is idiotic, I think, is the idea that you can create an 'ism' that sums up life, the universe and everything. Even the very best 'isms' from the greatest thinkers will be partial at best - also we will never agree on how to interpret the 'ism' anyway so even if it was the complete truth about everything we just wouldn't get it.

I agree existentialism in general is this. However, there are some currents within existentialism, like sartrean existentialism, which are full of philosophical obfuscation.

To dismiss all isms as idiotic and stupid is to be just as ignorant and unenlightened as that which you hate. Isms are created to explain the unexplainable, however what we are now finding out is that the so-called super-natural is actualy fully explainable through science. In essence the isms are becoming science and eventualy won't have any pull on people's opinions. You don't have to agree with what people believe but you should at least understand why they think the way they do, because of brainwashing or otherwise they have decided to believe in something. You are on this site so i imagine you follow some sort of political ism and from the sounds of it you are an anti-theist, hense you follow an ism. Be careful before saying things as outragious as all isms are idiotic, you might just end up calling yourself stupid.
