If they want to spend money with keeping a domain for themselves, let them.
Its more of an issue of the community involved and less of an issue of the right domain for people to access it, as long as its kept simple.

There are many companies that are making a business out of buying domainnames and reselling them. The Dutch domain name socialisme.nl for example is registered by such a company and they're asking 3000 euro's for it...

If people want to buy these domain names to resell them that is up to them.

First of all, most people selling domain names do not make a profit it is a Cliche business that has very few success stories.

Secondly, these domain names are already available, me giving ideas isn't going to hurt anyone.

Also, People who do buy and resell these domain names do not usually want .org or .com names unless they are simple, sweet or unique.

Lastly, I highly doubt people will be reselling these kinds of domain names, mostly they go for business type models.
