Why do so many, in their 'dream' team, start a fascist in goal?
Why do so many, in their 'dream' team, start a fascist in goal?
You mean Buffon?Fascist or not(is he?) as a keeper he is great-excelent, and the greatest, by a bit from Van Der Sar, now playing.

How is his political ideology relevant to him being the best goalie on earth?

I just wouldn't want a fascist on my 'dream team,' - it might mess with team unity and moral. You can't just pick the best players but players that might work well together.

Yeah, no shit.
How about we call ours "Mens Football" to differentiate it from the boys sport of the same name?

I thought Buffon denied being a fascist? Still, he's a strange character, and earned the praise of Alessandra Mussolini for his squad number choice... There are several known fascist Italian players.
In that case, it would always have to be balanced out with Lucarelli, the man who plays with squad number 99 in homage to the communist supporter group of Livorno.
