Cult of Reason

I found this on youtube and found it very interesting. It is Newsnight's Paul Mason speaking somewhere in Manchester about what he thinks has caused the crisis and so on. It seems to be a Leninist party of some sort, but I could not make out the name on the banner.
Paul Mason is "father of the chapel" (effectively shop steward, I think) for the National Union of Journalists on Newsnight and is a former member of the Trotskyist organisation Workers' Power (though the fact he is no longer a member may be because journalists at the BBC are not allowed to be in political organisations in the interest of neutrality). He also did a talk at the Anarchist Bookfair in London in 2008 on the Paris Commune and has written a book called Live Working, Die Fighting: How The Working Class Went Global. He is currently Newsnight's Economics Editor.
For the non-Brits: Newsnight is, in my opinion, by far the best current affairs program on mainstream UK television.

Any comments?
