Nu-metal killed music, nu.metal is making a generation of rebels without cause!! where are the days of rage, nirvana, sonic youth, psycadelic furs, sebadoh, pavement, etc? what appened to alternative music?? Nowdays music is only goo when it sells!!!! and thats very bad!!! thnks nu metal for killing good taste!!!!!!

Oh god, wake up. Nu-metal is one aspect of an extremely large musical scene, and it isnt all bad. Boy Hits Car make extremely good "nu-metal" (such an ugly term) using heavy Metallica riffs with an indian influence. To cut off an whole genre is insane.

As for what happened to good music: Sonic Youth are on tour now, Oasis have a new album out in a few months, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are playing Reading and i will be watching them all.

cos i hate it too, but its getting a bit tiring... there have been heaps recently....

so to sum it up...
-nu metal is shit...
-there arent many decent bands around nemore like Nirvana etc
- and none of us like it
