I cant think af any american bands, be they punk rock or whatever, with the integrity and power of fugazi.

they've been around for about fifteen years and every album they make gets better and better... the lyrics are so inspiring, but not overt and simplistic, they are a band that actively MAKE you think.

I saw them about three years ago at the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh, and they're playing the barrowlands next month (woohoo!!!!). is anybody going? believe me, you dont want to miss the chance.

HERE ARE OUR DEMANDS WE WANT CONTROL OF OUR BODIES DECISIONS WILL NOW BE OURS YOU CARRY OUT YOUR NOBLE ACTIONS WE WILL CARRY OUR NOBLE SCARS RECLAMATION NOONE HERE IS ASKING BUT THERE IS A QUESTION OF TRUST YOU WILL DO WHAT LOOKS GOOD TO YOU ON PAPER WE WILL DO WHAT WE MUST

I was thinkin the exact same thing!

have you heard of ymkake? another chinese food band for ya. go to www.mp3.com/ymkake and listen to some of their stuff. They are a really weird industrial band.

Superb band. Great music. They're terrific as a "live" band, too. They came down to Malaysia, in the mid-90's, and the crowd went totally apeshit throughout their entire set. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially to those people who think blink182 is so cool, after Fugazi, you'll rethink everything you know about the hardcore and punk rock scenes.

They are in my list of bands to "get into" in the future. They have four of their albums in a local record store for £7 each here, but there are so many albums i want at the minute it would be a crime to add four more.

Damn my cd addiction.

Zippy.

Fugazi are amazing! I missed them when they were in town a couple of years ago. Sunday I had guests on my radio show that had opened for them, though. They said they were phenominal people; really fabulous musicians.
