England 30.4.-4.5.

So, the flight is booked; I'm going to England for the weekend around Mayday!

Schedule: Arrival at London-Stansted at 18:00 on thursday the 30th. Then I'll take the train to London and meet up with The Leveller's Standard. I'll spend the night at his place and attend the IWW's Mayday demo the day after, where I'm also supposed to meet Jazzratt, and hopefully Desrumeaux.

Afterwards I'll take the train with Jazzy to his town, near Brighton on the south coast and stay there until I travel back on tuesday the 4th. I've also spoken with NoXion about having a rendez-vous at some point, which would be awesome (can you make it to the demo?).

I'd like to meet as many cool revlefters as possible, so please post in this thread or PM me if you are in the area and could either attend the demo with us or meet up somewhere else during my stay. :)

A bit gutted i'll still be over in Prague and miss out on a bit of an informal RevLeft gathering, it seems.

However, I wholeheartedly reccommend Brighton. I went there for a day a week ago when I had to fly back to the UK and it was lovely. There's a great veggie burger place that likes the whole 'Soviet Russia' theme :p

Just thought I'd but in and say that brighton does quite a lot of great veggie food (if that's your thing) everywhere but the place you refer to (RedVeg I think it's called) should definitely be part of a leftie visit to Brighton - if only because they do good hangover food and its a bit of a laugh.

Brighton has pretty good nightlife for what is a fairly small city. Been there a couple of times because i have cousins at uni there.

Oh, couldn't you have waited till 30.6.? This is the day my English specialised course goes to London for a week and I think it would have been no problem to "get lost accidentaly" for a day, so I could have met with you.

But I'm definitely not going to London from 30.4 to 4.5 for two resaons:
a) My birthday falls into this time and a party is planned by me and my best friend, who incidentally has birthday at the same day.
b) Thanks to our English teacher and his not very saving program for our London trip I'm totally out of money. ;)

The trip is in 10 days, and I'm really looking forward to it. :)

It seems like Desrumeaux unfortunately won't be in the country yet during my visit, as her moving has been delayed, but it will be awesome to meet all the others.
