First off, i hate nu metal as much as the next guy, but there are worse genres we should be focusing on. Rap and pop for starters.

Second, I question how much you actually know about incubus. Where do you get off labeling them nu-metal and classifying them with slipknot?? Incubus used to be a great band, and they still write beautiful lyrics. Just because they're on the radio doesn't mean you have to hate them, that's just another form of angst. And we all know how those nu-metal kids love angst ;)

It depends what you class as nu-metal. The three bands you listed (Slipknot, Mudvayne, Incubus) are hardly nu-metal by the common definition. But, if you class nu-metal as Linkin Park and Papa Roach, then yes, I'm not a fan.

I personally wouldnt class incubus as nu-metal... but i dont know wot the rest of u guys think.

None of those bands are nu-metal. Nu-metal is shit like Limp Bizkit which now sucks. But personally, I hate pop-punk like Blink 182 and Unwritten Law much more.

i probly know more than you, I went to 2 of their concerts and i had all of their cds. I used to like them.
no, they're not really nu-metal. I just fucking hate them.
I used to listen to them. I used to really like them even.
Now I just find them to whiny and annoying. I also hate turn-tables! Yeah they were good at one time. Before they brought in the turn-tables guy. EWwe turn tables...
I liked their earlier stuff.
