Freedom?
They say to let freedom ring
But they cut classes so children wont sing
They twist their words so that their lies
Promise great change or a new life
They say these things and ignore the strife
Of women and children that live in the street
Starving and dying even as I speak
While the rich and the famous
Still get a good nights sleep
Is this the world in which I live?
Where nobody thinks and everyone gives
Until you cant give anymore and its hard to live
When you sold your soul to make a little more
Capitalism is that all I should live for
I dream of the world that was thought of by Che
But nobody thinks of the revolutionary way
They murdered him in the jungle so that they could say
We have won, against slavery and suffering
When really they killed nothing
Cause all they killed was a man not his idea
Cause he threatened their money and instilled fear
Cause he thought of the people before wealth
He helped the people instead of, destroying their health
They say he killed thousands in what he sought for
When thousands of babies are murdered by doctors
Just to make six figures.

And the people asking why

Cause they dont want to stand in the way of something
