Drum 'n' bass is superb shit. I've been listening to a lot of DnB lately, but most of what I like is either chilled-out groovy stuff like LTJ Bukem and Marcus Intalex, or crazy 500bpm shit like Goldie, Photek and Dieselboy. I can really think of anything in between...
Atmospheric Dnb is good, but takes a while to get used to, because the layering and sheer amount of samples usually makes me feel like I've plugged my head into a switchboard and turned the volume up to "Are You Sure You Wanna Bust Your Eardrums?" loudness.
But Dnb is slowly inching it's way towards mainstream, notice how many adverts nowadays feature DnB when it all used to only bubblegum-pop trance beats in the background?

I listened to drum'n'bass some years ago but not anymore. Now I really don't value it...

I still like it alot, but sadly alot of people stopped playing it because of the minority of people liking it.

I have bad experiences when it was blared at me at a punk gig (sex pistols, dickhead jhonny rotten but before i knew this, but the dnb was awful and a bad choice), i think its quite good now though, appeals to me more now

For all of you too lazy to follow my instructions:
(like most D&B, give it time to get into the swing. Also pump up the volume to full)

I like some kinds of fringe dnb, dub and breakcoreish stuff, such as DJs Eye-D, Hidden (A.K.A The Outside Agency), SPL and Limewax. Basically, the pretty raw, rough and dark stuff.
