Still shots of sporting action are always nice to see. A football goalie making a beautiful save, a runner extending himself to the fullest, etc. If you see a cool pic, post it here.
My entry: Alex vs Skrtel, a duel of defenders where the sparks fly, soon to be seen in the Champions League too!

Well they're both better than Bristol for a start, so you shouldn't throw stones when living in a glass house.
You seem like an intelligent enough fella when it comes to your footballing knowledge, so I don't think I have to tell you that there is much more to supporting a club than simply enjoying the football they play.

Of course, i just think the SPL is an atrocious league. The least competative in Britain. I would rather watch TNS VS Cefyn Druids in the welsh league than sit through another boring celtic SPL victory.

The least competative in Britain? Bollocks. Outside the Old Firm there's five teams fighting it out for the UEFA cup spot (9 points between them: Hearts/Aberdeen/Dundee United/Hibernian and Motherwell.
Only six points separates five teams battling to avoid the drop: Falkirk/Caley Thistle/St Mirren/Kilmarnock/Hamilton.

Then, they didn't allow that team to get promoted because their stadium was too small. It's a boring league.

1. League of twelve (formerly ten) and two teams that always win it. English league of 20 and 4 teams (though really three) always winning it. So what? You're not one of those gof-awful football fans that only pays attention to the top of the league are you? I'd rather watch a proper mid-table battle between Motherwell and United that produces goals and great plays than Man United scoring last-minute again.
Lyon always wins the French league. Does that make the league boring? What about Germany? Its a non-argument.
2. If you're referring to Falkirk several years ago know, you'll probably be aware that the rules changed and now all of the division one teams have the requirements for getting into the top flight.

Yeah, the french league is boring. As is the german one. Hence why it's rarely watched on an international level.

One goal by one player didn't win the match. Of course if you knew anything about football then you may have known that the score was 2-1. Take away the hand of god and what score do you have? 1-1. England were perfectly capable of winning that game. The fact that an English player won the golden boot at that tournament is evidence enough that we were capable of scoring goals.
you = Dire lack of footballing knowledge combined with the will to see England fail.
You didnt deserved win Killfacer, the draw was lucky for me, with a great goal by Adebayor, Villareal could easily go with a 3-0 in the first half, and that would be totally fair. They were just better.Man Utd heard was dissapointing too, but didnt watch the game :(.

Weird thread to do it in but meh, ok.
I agree completely. Arsenal were all over the fucking shop and villarreal were really good. We came into the game in the last 10 or so minutes, but like you say, we were lucky to come out with a draw and a valuable away goal.
United could be in big trouble. It's going to be tough in portugal and porto have 2 away goals.

England were perfectly capable of winning that gameAnd that they did not do so owes less to Maradon'a goal than the fact that England were outplayed by the Argentinians throughout the game, only really coming to life in the last 15min or so. Anyone who watched that match and concluded that Argentina were not worthy wingers is either an idiot or an Englishman. Note that the two are not mutually exclusive
And I'd actually have liked to see England win that entire tournament. Granted, it would have only cemented that delusional assumption that England are still a world power in football (not that repeated failures every two years have helped to dispel that), but at least we wouldn't have to constantly listen to that bullshit about "Forty years of hurt". Jesus Christ, do you have any idea how irritating that is?

We would not have won the tournament, i was referring to the match with Argentina. The rest of your statement doesn't even make much sense. The fact that the scoreline would have been a draw puts lie to anything you have said.

My point exactly.
I strongly dislike Čavić for letting state-bougeoise scum to use him for their political goals(http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/swimming/news/story?id=3304738 ), but this is simply outrageous and has nothing to with my views for Kosovo independency.
Omega's confession came when nobody cares anymore, and Michael Phelps is in history by winning 8 medals at the Olympics.
