Need Exact quote.

I need your help on something. I have to write an essay for my uni exams, and i would like to use a specific quote:

"When we hang the capitalists they will sell us the rope we use"

If i'm correct that by Stalin.

I've read the quote a loooong time ago in a text, and now i can find it on these quote sites. But thats not good for a scientific essay.

If you know this quote; can you tell me EXACTLY where its from ?

Year / Date / Book / Page ??

or if you have seen it quoted in other literature (NOT on the net), could u give me that info ? (year, author, book, publisher, page).
