Hello, comrades. I need some adivce from you on how I can spread propaganda in my high school. Unfortunately, I am somewhat reserved about talking of communism here: Whenever it comes up, my heart rate increases noticibly as the prospect of defending it comes. That doesn't stop me, though. I just need some tips on good tactics.
Interestingly, socialism came up in my English class, and I was surprised by the apparantly openness to it, much higher than I expected.
By the way, if it's all the same to y'all, I'd rather not hear answers like "Oh my freaking lord, what the hell is wrong with you that you aren't spreading propaganda." That's kind of why I'm here, to get tips. My school needs communist propaganda, if any school does.
H&S forever,

Seriously though: I suggest discussing with people on socialist ideas. If there is an issue that is particularly "hot" you could write a leaflet on it.

Philosophy club, debating society, but most exciting would be an underground 'zine.

Let me give you my situation. Small town, small school. I.e. <300 students. Redneck, but some are not redneck in the sense that they're closed minded. Nice school, but I want to spread communism. :)

The best way is to first question capitalist constructs that are taken for granted, such as monetary system and nationalism and then ofcourse class society. When people notice how little is actually proven, they will start to search for answers, and this is when you strike again.
You should also know that not all people are "convertible", as some people blindly follow any authority figure (which you are not).

I've look at the HCG, it's not much help. His question was, what are good, snappy things to say to quickly smash capitalist arguments, because he currently goes through long explanations to refute them. I don't even have the long explanations, and I'd rather have those ready before I use snappy statements. ;) I just need to know good tactics for arguments. ;)

The only thing that helps in the long run is a thorough understanding of whatever your ideology is. You'll have to read a lot. Not just the core writings that might define your ideology, but also discussions about the matter. And you'll have to think things through yourself.
You might want to try writing an essay, answering questions you think are likely to come up in a discussion. You don't have to let anyone read it if you're uncomfortable with that, but it'll help you structure your mind, enabling you to answer to these quesetions much faster in a discussion.
