IMO , their going to the exact same as Kadima (if not worse) the anti-arab sentiments in the party (LIKUD) likened arabs to "worms" and said that Palestine is a nation of murderers and terrorists . Also their sure that Ahmehdinijad is the reincarnation of hitler ..... Yeah so to answer the question . No .

Israel is an aggressive settler state. It's peace will come at the expense of Palestinians, much like America's peace came at the expense of Native Americans.
GX.

:blink::lol::laugh::laugh::laugh:
Seriously, just yesterday there was a report of Israeli settlers in the news, who marched with huge Israel flags through a Palestinian village like the fascists couldn't have done better themselves, claiming that this area will soon belong to them. And ultra right-winged Liberman as the foreign minister of right-winged prime minister Netanyahu...yeah, that absolutely looks like peace in nearer future. :rolleyes:

I wish the US would press Likud on their loose stance on Palestinians and their claims for a state. So you don't want the Palestinians to have a state, ok, well if you don't want them to have a state, then make them citizens of your own country. Can you think of anything more sick then preventing a people from the right to self-determination but then refusing to nationalise them in your own state? Who can have sympathy for Israel?
Can Israel build peace?
Yeah, they're pretty far already:

No, it will not. It will continue to crush any hope of peace left. We have seen decades of statements like this, with several Israeli PM's shamelessly receiving the so-called Nobel Peace Prize. But no end in sight for the occupation or the brutal slaughter.

The Orange Order behaves the same way in Northern Ireland, I guess that's reactionary 'settlers' for you.

Erm, to be honest, the Orange Order isn't very high in my ranking list, too. I think they also behave like fascists, throught occupying Northern Ireland and provocating the Irish, if this is what you wanted to know.
