Ricanstruction - My Favorite Band. Possibly New RATM?

Wow. These guys are so good. They kind of remind me of RATM with how political they are. If you have audiogalaxy, search their name and d/l a few songs...My 2 favorites are Abu Jamal and Liberation Day.

There sick hardcore but it;s hard to understand what he's saying most of the time. I wish the guy rapped like it rage now that would be sick, like hard core with fast rap as singing. It would also make it alot easier to understand him. Overall I really like them though but there are so many political hardcore bands that it doesn't seem like anything new to me.

But one of the things i love about Ricanstruction though is the fact that they DON'T do Rage or anybody else, but are equally as left and poltical as rage was. I hear you on not being able to understand what hardcore bands are saying, but I heard a Ricanstruction song with Chuck D (of Public Enemy) on it, where the Ricanstruction singer actually rapped AND sang (in spanish too) and it was mad hot. And then I heard another one where it was a fast as hell hardcore song (like you describe) with the singer going really fast, but they had dead prez on it rapping too on a slowed down mosh part. And that was sick too.

I also caught them live in LA and they were amazing, and I spoke to them for a bit and they were mad cool. I also respect those guys because they are anti-corporate and squatters and really live their leftist politics. Which is a lot more than a lot of people can say.

There a good band, not quite as good as ratm, the rapper could be a bit easier too underdstand, but i like them.
