Loop Troop and Promoe must not be forgotten! :)
Promoe made a record recently called "Government Music" with a Soviet kind of look to the cover.

Very few people know them, they're rappers from Sweden after all. But they rap in English, totally anti-establishment. My favorite anti-capitalist song of all time is "The Biggest Hustle", it's just fantastic, inspired stuff, packed full of facts and truths.

Here are some quotes (BTW, Babylon is a Rastafarian way of referring to the establishment, and sorry if this is considered off topic, I just really believe in this band):

"Cash creates capitalistic dictators, fat accounts is what counts, isn't that strange? Actual people get treated like pocket change!"

"In Babylon, freedom is only an illusion, take heed listen to the Loop Troop constitution: Baabylon, dem have the biggest muscle, that's how them get away with the biggest hustle! Babylon don't want no competition, that's why they put criminals in prison!"

"I try to think for my self, but that's a no-no, not supposed to be a man, you should be a working robo(t). Homophobic, sexual and racial inequality is the Babylon melody..."

"Your restrictions ain't my law, your values ain't my values and your mistakes ain't my fault. I thought, politicians cared for people's health but most of ya'll are only interested in money for yourself! For your OWN welfare you suckers need a parachute, 'cause I be sniping your private jets, you can't fool the truth!"

I think SOAD is probably one of the most popular leftist band these days. Offcourse RATM and other bands are very popular too, but I think at this moment SOAD is one of the most popular leftist band. There song P.L.U.C.K. (Politically Lying Unhole Cowardly Killers) is just great!!
