Radiohead - Creep was the first song to make me cry. After that, there have been loads. For some reason, American Head Charge - Self makes me cry cos there's the most beautiful melodic part in the middle. The last song to make me cry was Alice in Chains - Down in a Hole.

Yes, it's hokey. Yes, it's lame (maybe).
But one night I was really stoned and listened to 'Stairway to Heaven' by Led Zeppelin. I listened to the lyrics, for the first time, really close, and I cried and cried.
"There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven" Yeah, Led Zeppelin IS GOD!!! That song will forever mean more to me than most. Led Zeppelin are such Commies. Well, in my opinion LOL. Great fucking song. Oh, and Jimmy Page IS A GODMAN!

P.S. I especially got 'emotional' when Robert Plant sang.:
"Yes, there are two paths you can go by,
but in the long run,
There's still time to change the road you're on."
Which meant a LOT to me at the time. Sorry for the pathetic memory lane. But, yeah, made me cry...very rare.
LED ZEPPELIN ROCKS!!!
I don't say that music doesn't make me cry but if I havn't been stoned I wouldn't start a topic like that but after all I like the topic and It let's see that real communists aren't that tough at all ;)

Well, it's a very good thing to cry if you're expressing your reaction at the injustices of this world.
"At the risk of seeming ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love. It is impossible to think of a genuine revolutionary lacking this quality." -Che
If one never sheds a tear for this tragic state of affairs, or one's fellow people under the chains and bondage of capitali$m all over the world, do you have that love Che described?
I would say no. Che also said, "If you tremble indignation at every injustice then you are a comrade of mine." I feel like I've been trembling for years and years, and over time, as you named the thread, it makes me cry...

All revolutionaries feel the weight of the worlds suffering on their shoulders, otherwise they wouldnt have the urge to try and change things. And that weight can get squeeze the tears outta the hardest of us. (I personally rock myself to sleep in a fetal position, crying like a baby, every night)
Seriously now, Stairway to Heaven is the greatest song ever. Cliche but true.
A song I shed a tear to (not cry, mind you) every time I hear it is: Bleed, by Cold. And *never* listen to any of Staind's songs when stoned. They'll surely get you whimpering like a baby.
well I really like Time of your life from Greenday

Very few songs make me so emotional that I actually get a tear in my eye... "Stairway to Heaven" that was mentioned above is one.."Edmond Fitsgerald" is another... some various Irish rebel songs... and that's all I can think of...
