Workers at troubled Waterford Crystal have voted to end their seven-week sit-in after accepting an agreement that would save almost 200 jobs.
Talks had been ongoing between new owners US firm KPS Capital Partners, trade union Unite and receiver David Carson, who closed the Kilbarry plant at the end of January.
The union said a transitional agreement has been reached between KPA and the receiver, retaining 176 jobs. Walter Cullen, Unite regional manager, extended his thanks to all who have supported their campaign.
