What class would jobs like accounting and other related jobs be classified as and why?

Most accountants are professional workers, with and especially without designations. Their education is a commodity, and so is their labour power. However, some are coordinators, like controllers.

According to a strict readings of Marx, occupations such as accountants do not actually produce value, but rather are involved in increasing the realization of surplus value. In terms of capital accumulation, such an occupation lies in its circulatory phase as opposed to productive phase.

According to the original manuscript for the third volume of Capital, Marx's earlier distinction was blurred quite a bit.

What about stock brokers, you know the people in the pit of the stock exchange who buy and sell on behalf their clients or their employers clients? It's not their money they're spending so they aren't entrepreneurs.
