Taped it and watched it this morning. Great fight, wasn't expecting much from Dunne but he really turned up and put on a good show. Easily the best I've ever seen from him. Not that Cordoba was poor - he did well to recover from those early knockdowns -as I said, it was a great fight

As someone who used to be a boxer I found that Dunne has cut out his huge ego since the kiko martinez incident. His technical ability was gobsmackingly good. I was initially worried when Cordoba opened up his left eye in the first few rounds as he cuts very easily but he did extremely well with that jabbing hand to protect it and cover up. I found his use of the forearm and glove palm extremely good as this was not something he was previously good at. His focus was excellent and he brought home the goods.

Its also reassuring to hear Cordoba is okay. I though he wasn't going to recover as a doctor said he was not responding to stimulas at the time but recovered in hospital afterwards.

I will still maintain that the best Irish sports person is Katie Taylor and is our most promising boxing talent. Winning her fight last night by 27-3 - a huge whopping victory over a good opponent. :thumbup1:
