Just saw this on the BBC website and I was wondering what people thought. At first glance it seems pretty trivial, I admit. When I thought about the actual end result though it's done the following:
- Cost this company money in replacing the cubicles
- Got these bourgeois uneasy enough to be willing to hand out a bribe of $5k to make it stop
- Delayed construction work, costing those bourgeois further money if they fail thier deadlines
So, who thinks that this was the effect that the arsonist was going for and who thinks it is more likely just a practical joke by some drunks? Should such attacks be condemned, or encouraged? Any other comments? :)

You should have made an option "How should I know ?"
Vandalism against corporations does not call for revolutionnary tribunals. Whatever the intentions of the arsonist(s), it's just rage against the machine.
Not enough, but not so bad, even when alcohol strated it. Take it as it comes.

I think somebody has learn to destroy public bogs and enjoys is enough to do it repeatedly. I dont think theirs any political motive behind this.

Well, while I was working as a teacher at a junior high, this happened to two of the outhouses out near the basketball courts. What does that tell you.

Putting every act of vandalism under political scrutiny is only going to alienate people. Who cares if there was a political motive behind this? It's hilarious, and it cost some rich people money.
