Aparently nothing. How do you know what somebody is thinking in drawing a picture? With symbols of course! Thats why there is a hammer/sickle symbol in there. It helps you know what was meant in drawing the image.

If a woman that looked exactly like that thing came walking down the street I'd run a mile! Freaky facial dimensions, warped eyes, overbite, and messed up body, big boobs or not. Since I see the direction this thread and all anime threads inevitabley go, ie draw big boobies...
Serious(ish) question to everyone that draws or recolours this hentai:
You masturbate to cartoons, right?
Japanese-adults-watch-them-all-the-time-they're-serious-business not withstanding; you masturbate to drawings (some high quality) of women.
If you're drawing your own or adding a hammer and sickle and a red background to it, what makes that any different to humping a blowup doll you inflated (or in the case of recolours, dressing said blowup doll up in a Che Tshirt) before plunging into it? Simply something a little tragic about drawing something then masturbating all over it, although almost McGyverish; make a porn mag in a prison cell with nothing but a blank page and a pen!
Oh, and saying "in before" doesn't work here to negate a bad reaction, you're thinking of 4chan.:)

Seriosuly on this forum we need to start censoring 4chan lingo such as "fap" and pointless phrases such as "inb4trashlol". It drags this forum in to further obscurity and dilutes/detracts from any serious political discussion on the board.
Communist anime is a pretty tenuous subject in the first place, but independent from the masturbatory musings of doltish thirteen year old kids who are driving out senior, committed members - the idea of anime does have a vague value in artistic merit. To qualify that, as an art form, not an aide to masturbation. But no, you bastards can't even leave it at that level of pitiful.

If its a meme or image macro it probably came from 4chan. As do phrases like "Cool story bro" "Win" "Fail" "Epic" and many many others I can't even remember. In short, you can't, as 4chan culture has leaked out across the internet.

Well, well... the anime haters firing-squad has turned from mocking attempts to put a leftist spin with bad photoshop images and thumbing their noses to talking about something called 4chan. Seriously, these cries about people liking anime being pathetic (though I can agree with the notion of people actually touching themselves to such things is a tad low-brow) have become something of an ironic counter-point to their own pathetic-ness. Someone posts a picture with an anime girl with a hammer and sickle on her hat and everyone just HAS to criticize. But really, as you sit there, pecking away and so full of yourself mocking others, what does that say about you? Nothing good, I'd imagine.
If someone wants to take something as influential in the culture of our youth today and turn it towards our purposes, I don't really see a problem in that. Das Capital is being put out in manga form in Japan, and with the global recession worsening and more and more people questioning the system as it stands, there is bound to be more art work in various forms made in protest to this system. Now are you going to sit on your high pedestels (which can't be all that high if you have to flame threads like this to pass the time) and mock, or are you going to shut up for a minute and weigh the value of having our ideals infiltrate the mainstream through all available means against your own distaste towards this artform? Seriously.

Me and my friend had an idea for an anime series. The series is called: "Metro Shepardo!!!"
You dudes know the Tokyo metro "shephard"? People whose job is to force people into underground trains even when there is obviously no room left.
http://www.japantravel.co.uk/ask/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/metro.jpg
Well our anime is told by one of these dudes.
The entire series is located on 2 square meters located just inside the train entrance. Our heroine has entered the underground with her daughter, but when she is unable to leave the train on the stop she intented (for obvious reasons), she loses her grip on her daughter and the little one gets lost. ... ... The search begins!
In one episode she hears that the daughter is sighted two cars to her left!!! She goes like WHAAAT!?!? :cursing: And in one episode she glimpses a reflection in a glass. She sees an old hermit... ... in .... gasp ... a seat!!! And then she finally gets to the sage with a help of a dude who has learned how to slither himself between peoples legs after spending years within that car.
Then there are a whole lot of people who have their special abilities and powers how to manage themselves in their crowded enviroment. The funny thing is: this is not the weirdest anime idea we have heard of.
Whats so communist about it? Well... some characters might be workers?
Sean

I'm not sure "Cool Story bro" comes from 4chanIt achieved meme status and therefore was repeated endlessly across the internet by channers originally.
I have never visited 4chan, and have been warned not to do so.That's damn good advice.
So basicly, internet culture = 4chan?A lot of it yeah. At least the annoying, done to death things.
Well, well... the anime haters firing-squad has turned from mocking attempts to put a leftist spin with bad photoshop images and thumbing their noses to talking about something called 4chan.Firstly, hugs, 4chan is based around anime and japanese culture, in fact the board system itself is a ripoff of a japanese imageboard.
though I can agree with the notion of people actually touching themselves to such things is a tad low-brow

bad photoshop imagesFor the record, I thought Kevis' were better than yours.
Someone posts a picture with an anime girl with a hammer and sickle on her hat and everyone just HAS to criticize. But really, as you sit there, pecking away and so full of yourself mocking others, what does that say about you? Nothing good, I'd imagine.
Hugs, what you don't fucking get here, and this is at least the third time this has come up, so I'm not even going to try and be polite any more, is that noone gives a flying fuck about your shitty colouring in. Furthermore, any attempts to fucking draw something on your own look like something a seven year old would do. You said you were in college. I'm sorry if this comes across as flaming, but over and over and over this crops up and for my sanity, you need to be told. You've been told this more than once, by more than one person in softer ways, but you don't listen so its time to be brutal.
If someone wants to take something as influential in the culture of our youth today and turn it towards our purposes, I don't really see a problem in that.
Neither do I, but you're not doing that. You're taking stills from other people's work and colouring them in. Then posting them. Then getting offended when someone laughes at them and your remedial drawing skills. Then posting them again.
Now are you going to sit on your high pedestels (which can't be all that high if you have to flame threads like this to pass the time) and mock...Believe me, I always have time for these threads, and you have plenty of time to ignore advice not to make them over and over. Although you didn't start this one for once, but seem to have taken the driving seat now.
your own distaste towards this artform?Anime is an artform. Colouring in other people's anime is not an artform.

The Sword of Lies 1-5
The Red Star: Sword of Lies is the continuation of the comic series that brings readers back to the events as we left them in the previous Red Star Trade Paperback, 'Prison of Souls'. It also takes readers back into the time of the Great Revolution, revealing the downfall of the summoner Imbohl. Once a leader of the Revolution, Imbohl's embrace of evil is the origin of The Red Star saga. This run is currently on issue #3. Issue #3 premiered at Comicon International San Diego 2008
Characters
Marcus Antares is an Infantry Captain of the Red Fleet and the husband of Maya Antares.
Maya Antares is a Warkaster (sorcerer and human energy cannon) of the Red Fleet and the wife of Marcus Antares.
Urik Antares is the commanding officer of the Skyfurnace R.S.S. (Red Star Skyship) Marshall Konstantinov. Older brother of Marcus Antares.
Kyuzo is a guardsman to Maya Antares. Considered to be the deadliest of all the guardsman.
Makita is an orphan of the War of Nokgorka. Member of the Nokgorka Resistance Militia.
Alexandra Goncharova is Maya's oldest and best friend. Killed In Action in the Massacre of the 13* st armored division (War of Nokgorka).
Andrei Torin is Chief Engineer of the R.S.S. Konstantinov and a powerful 'rogue' sorcerer.
The Red Woman is the mysterious leader of the Forces of Liberation, seeking to free her people from their slavery to the legacy of Imbohl.
Troika is a servant of Imbohl, leader of the national security agency known as the 'Third Department', seeking to maintain the order established by the rule of Imbohl.
Imbohl is revered as the leader of the Great Revolution. Imbohl was a sorcerer who led the Red Councils to victory over the corrupt Monarchy of the Ancient Dynasties.

Yeah I was sort of enjoying the first few issues of The Red Star (even aside from the politics it's crap, but pretty fun); when they got to the part about "Imbohl" enslaving the souls of the dead or whatever I wasn't really surprised, and only a little disappointed -- I'd been bracing myself for some ultra-right screed dressed up in left iconography (a la Just Cause (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Just_Cause_%28video_game%29)) and instead got the same sort of anti-Leninism favored by anarchists etc. (the Red Woman standing for "real communism" agaisnt the evil blahblahblah). Not so bad, really, but I did lose interest.

No. Fuck off. While anime is clearly not a terrible art form or devoid of any intellectual merit what you're doing is. Apart from in a few cases most people recognise this, but all you're doing isadding more crap to the internet which already has enough crap to be getting on with.
LOL! You masterbate to drawn porn. I'm superior because it takes genuinely exploited human beings to get my dick hard!
No. Fuck off. The dubious superiority you're trying to claim just doesn't exist, people find hentai arousing, you should probably get over it. It's a medium which allows for exploration of a wide variety of sexual experiences including some which cannot or should not be reproduced either due to feasibility (there aren't all that many things with 17 prehensile cocks prepared to have sex with people, or indeed all that many things with 17 prehensile cocks) or utter immorality (sex involving minors, rape and necrophilia for example).
What, incidentally, are your thoughts on erotic novels? The elitisim shown toward aids to masturbation here is fucking staggering.

To those saying that anime recolorings are a good thing that'll get us more support, I just came up with a brilliant idea that takes this to a whole new level.
Lets take this song, "Crank That", by Soulja Boy (which I can't embed but can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpocrqvP2Yg) and rerecord it. Only every time he says "Soulja Boy" we shout "COMMUNISM". This is guaranteed to get us lots of support in the rap world. Rap fans everywhere will be amazed by our creative skills and join the good cause.

Lelouch of the rebellion
Not really explicitly communist, but it has some similar undertones.
Yeah, right. Just reading the wiki summary, that show is like all anime elitist garbage. The main character--the "rebel"--is "the exiled son of the Emperor of Britannia and the late Empress Marianne, forced to flee to Japan after his mother's assassination."
People need to stop politically justifying what they watch just to deal with their own cognitive dissonance.
What you're seeing isn't there.

I've seen this picture so many times. It's usually in a motivational poster with the caption: "Communism never looked so cute".
That tag's reserved for Holden Caulfield

Commie anime = quite possibly the greatest fap material of our time
You're also thinking of Holden.

What you're seeing isn't there.Did I say it was a perfect representation of a marxist/communist/anarchist revolution?
No, I did not. You don't have to be so hostile.
I said it had some similar undertones, meaning that during the series (if you bother watching it that is) some ideas, such as the necessity for revolution/rebellion against unjust laws, oppression and exploitation, are similar. That's it.
It's funny that you tell me that 'what i'm seeing isn't there', when i've actually seen the anime itself and you've only read a wiki summary. I think I have a better idea of what it's about.

Funny. You can say the same thing about Red Dawn. Such a concept of revolution, without an exploration of class, is so generic that it can be fitted to the mold of almost everything.

Such a concept of revolution, without an exploration of class, is so generic that it can be fitted to the mold of almost everything.Except for the little fact that the anime itself does mention class struggle, the main character which you mentioned before hates nobles and similar societal parasites and by the end of the series presumably the nobility and capitalism itself are abolished.
Why don't you stop guessing and actually watch it yourself? You're not getting anywhere like this.

I know where the chain is supposed to be coming from, but that is not where it looks like it's coming from. It looks like it's coming from somewhere else.
