Los De Abajo just released a new album, Cybertropic Chilango Power. A chilango is a resident of the DF. It's very good, although not as good as their first album. As they've said, this album definitely has a more European sound than their eariler one. I think this album sounds something from Manu Chao/Mano Negra. The two most political songs on the album also happen to be the best(Señor Judas y Joder). All of the songs are in Spanish, but the lyric notes, unlike in their original album, are all in English. Their last album, self-titled, was more political, and more explicitly so, however.

I'm sorry, I've been trying to think, but I do not know what the DF is, so I still do not know what Chilango means.. I'm sorry.

Oh! OK.. I feel tan estupida! The word sounded familiar but I couldn't remember where I had heard it before. Thanks, buddy.

Is it just me or is this whole log-in process not working very well on here? I can't get my messages! :(
