Which?
If you're not gay, but enjoy getting off to the Smiths, still vote.

Hatful of Hollow isn't a proper studio album it is a completion disaster.

The Queen is Dead. For sure.
It's gorgeous.

Although, I'd prefer to dance, and it usually happens.

There are no good albums for this, and the best song for this purpose isn't on any of those listed :( The Queen is Dead, I guess, for having "There is a Light" on it (though arguably "This Night Has Opened My Eyes" works...pretty well)

It's an album list, not a song list, m'dear.

Sorry, and how are they not good for gay makeout seshes? The only better album than the Queen is the Cure's Disintegration. If you're being blown to the song disintegration, you will see angels.

Y...yes?
That was my complaint?

I would rather listen to something a bit more bouncy/happy. Don't get me wrong, i love the smiths but it's a bit depressing.

Making out to bouncy happy shit is lame. the Smiths all the way.
Or the Cure.

Meat is Murder is one of the best albums ever made.

Especially to fellatio. The action of being blown to Disintegration accurately describes the experience. No other album and action together have quite the same accuracy. Look: cleaning the bathroom to In Utero. doesn't work, does it?

The cure? Argh. Don't get me wrong, i love both the Cure and the Smiths, but really?

THE PROVISIONAL GAY MAKEOUT SMITHS PLAYLIST
1. This charming man
2. Hand in glove
3. Boy with a thorn in his side
4. Back to the old house
5. There is a light that never goes out
6. I know it's over.
For the authoritative version, PM me saying that you'll buy me a copy of Strangeways and I send you my postal address.

Incorrect. This Charming man, although an amazing song, should never be the opener on a play list.
1. Hand In Glove
2. Stop Me if You Think You've Heard This One Before
3. How Soon is Now?
4. This Charming Man.
5. Cemetery Gates
6. Ask
7. Asleep (For a nice ending)

There is a light that never goes out is such a beautiful song.
And if a double-Decker bus
crashes into us
To die by your side,
well the pleasure and privilege is mine.

No, no, NO!! The point of mine was to start cheerily and end more emotive. You're not even gay, who are you to write a Smiths fay makeout playlist?
scarletghoul
29th March 2009, 15:14
Meat is Murder, definately. The title track would be effective on many levels
But Im not gay so I dont know exactly
Angry Young Man
29th March 2009, 17:19
The title track is what makes it UNsuitable for a makeout sesh. Next you'll be saying you get your rocks off to Schindler's List!

Yes, Yes, YES.
Also, did you just call Asleep cheery, you muppet?
Angry Young Man

No. I said mine starts cheerily with TCM, and closes more emotively with I know it's over.
