Sonora ARA and advice

I live in Sonora California. A town located in the foot hills, which has been called a "Racially aware" community on the White Power forum site Stormfront.com. In the recent year a remarkable amount of White Power skinheads have shone up on our scene. A little at a time. So a ARA chapter was started but it soon became a RAAN chapter and ended all anti-racist activities they were planing. A new chapter started in its stead and though it has made a much more noble efort than the first the few members that it includes are never on the streets. They set at home and organize food not bombs and shit like that. Not that thats bad, it just isn't what our town needs. at least not from an anti-racist organization. What i'm saying is that i need to find a way to bring ant-racists of all politics together and face this problem, yet every organization seems to flake off after a wile, and individuals dont seem to want to put together one big crew to end this problem. Can you guys give me any advice?

Just the name of the town shouldn't matter much though? Unless it's a really really tiny town of course.

i feel your plight and i have a suggestion or two:
1. call an pre-existing ARA chapter for help
2. go to a punk show and get the local punks and skins involved (SHARPs are usually apolitical so keep the anarchist/commie thing at the door)
3. rally kids at the local high school, and keep tabs on it to make sure no R.A.C. cd's are passed out on the school yard

The punks in my town(for the most part) are fine with the nazis, or at least they tolerate them. Our most popular local punk band has a nazi as a drummer. There are very few SHARPs in my town. Most the skinheads that are not nazis claim to be trads so they try to stay out of any involvment as much as possable. When it comes to SHARPs theres me and three or four others.
As far as R.A.C goes i have not seen ny thing being passed out but i have seen kids who have bands like intimidation one, skrewdriver, and johny rebel on their I.pods

Form a solid core with your friends and then start trying to seek out allies, eventually holding a meeting. Also start identifying the most active nazis in your area, getting names, etc.

Its a fairly small town. I was friends with a few of the more active nazis back befor they were nazis, so gathering info is very easy seeing how i have a head start. we did have a meeting once. the problem was that it consisted of a bunch of guys trying to be macho. they tried to start a crew and it failed. badly.

That was our idea in the first place. We tried to host a Rock Against Racism. Pressure Point was comming to play at it. Then when people realized what it was for, the kind of shit we were trying to stir up the venue canceled on us. said they were avoiding any problems that might arise
