In these times of recession (or rather impending great depression?), in the US, many homes are being foreclosed. Tent cities are springing up. Many people are becoming jobless and homeless. Reason? Because they no longer possess the ability to repay their home loans.

Now look at this: US government has a debt of trillions of dollars which it can never pay back to its treasury holders like China, Japan etc. But no action against the government. On top of that, this fascist government has the audacity to punish its own citizens for being debtors while it doesn't want anyone to go against them for not being able to repay the wealth back to its treasury buyers.

This is open fascism. Capitalism's hypocrisy is so apparent.

Hmm...interesting. Perhaps alot of the problems would be solved is the US just paid back the damn money! Or it could make things worse because there would be less money to use to help the homeless, unemployed, etc. (not that they do anyway...)

The problem is.....the debt is in trillions of dollars. Around 75% of the GDP of US is its debt. US can't pay it in one many decades also!
Moreover, all the consumer goods -- almost all -- are manufactured in other countries like China, India etc. US has nothing except credit. Its in great mess.

Everyone knows that US won't be able to repay it even in 50 years! Even China knows it.

But the irony is that the fascist government of US has nothing to lose, no one can go against them given their military power, but it has laws to punish its own citizens for not being able to repay the debt!

Yea, I totally understand what you're saying. This very fact does make them hypocritical. The only thing I can suggest is that maybe they're trying to get money from the citizens so they can pay off the debt. It shouldn't be their responsibility though. It was the government who put themselves in debt, not the citizens.

They can't pay off the debt so easily. Thats for sure. Because the people themselves have no money but debt with them. Same goes with the government.

Both US citizens and the US government are in debt. The citizens are in debt of the government and in turn, the government is itself indebted to the various countries. Chinese Premiere already explained his "worries" about the treasury bonds of US that they hold. They are not sure whether they will ever get back their money.

The hypocrisy lies in the fact that the government has the power to take action against the people for their indebtedness where as the government itself is reluctant to admit its own indebtedness to the other countries. I do not think that the federal government will be every able to pay their debtors money back. Even if they are able to do so, it will happen at the cost of the great suffering of its citizens.

Thats why the media need to be exposed as the tools of the capitalist class that they are.

You're right. Media is simply a mouthpiece of the government. It is an instrument of propaganda, not a window to reality.
