I'm a big fan of music from all over the world.
There's this song I downloaded called "'S Muladach Mi" by a Scottish group (?) called Mouth Music and I really like it. Is there any similar music sung in Gaelic? It doesn't have to be political or anything.
Anyone know any good Arabic music? I like Nawal El-Zoughby & Cheb Mami somewhat, but is there any other good Rai (or other Arabic styles of music) that any of you guys know of? I like instrumental stuff too!
Ladysmith Black Mambazo - I love them. Is there anything else like it?
I'd like to know some really good Indian music.. I like sitar and I enjoy South Indian drumming. Trichy Sankaran & Ravi Shankar are awesome. Any more suggerstions?
Anyone here listen to Congolese Soukous music? Pepe Kalle is cool but I want to know some others.
What about zouk (from Martinique)?
Who shares a love for music from all over and would like to help me out? Any suggestions of beautiful world sounds would be greatly appreciated!
