" I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these great injustices and evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented towards social goals. In such an economy, the means of production and distribution would be owned by the workers and communities themselves and resources are allocated to and within communities in a planned ecologically economical manner in concert with the basic principles of peace, humanity, equity, sustainability, and quality of life"
